This is a Judgment in a case filed on behalf of self employed workers – drivers/owners of tricycles organized in the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN), Lagos State Chapter. The Judgment set aside the policy letters by the Lagos State Government which disallowed TOAN from operating while allowing non trade union bodies to carry out the trade union functions of TOAN. The suit was filed on 17/8/2021 and judgment delivered on 11/12/25.
