Position: Associate

Jigan Rukayat, a legal Associate at Abope Chamber, is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She is a dedicated and highly skilled Litigation Lawyer with over three years’ experience in a variety of legal areas, including Family Law, Criminal Law, Civil law and Labour Law.

Prior to joining Abope Chambers, Jigan Rukayat had been in active practice. She has represented over 20 clients both at the State level as a State Counsel at the Ministry of Justice of Portharcourt, Nigeria and at Private law firms. She has appeared in over 30 matters, drafted over 18 Legal Documents and registered at least 20 Businesses and Companies with the Corporate Affairs Commission since her Call to the Nigerian Bar, four years ago, in 2021.
